The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) is the largest Greek university. The main campus is located in the Thessaloniki city center. It covers about 430,000 m2, while some of its facilities, whether educational or administrative, are located outside the campus or in other cities. It includes 10 Faculties, consisting of 40 Schools and one (1) one-school Faculty. There are 61 Clinics, 295 official Laboratories, and 23 Study Centers. The Central Library of AUTh, one of the largest in the Balkans, together with the 45 smaller libraries of the Schools and Faculties (17 of which are official) constitute the Library System of AUTh.
The Transport Systems Research Group (TSRG) functions within the Division of Transport and Project Management of the School of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering AUTh. The scientific activities of TSRG fall under the areas of operation, planning, organization, and management of Transportation Systems. TSRG carries out both funded and non-funded research and it combines field knowledge with established collaborations in every project that it undertakes.
